
Serves: 4-6
12 oz Pennsylvania Dutch Broad Ribbons
1 lb uncooked chicken, diced
1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup olive oil
2 tbsp garlic, minced
1/2 cup red bell peppers, cut into strips
1/2 cup carrots, peeled and cut julienne
1/2 cup celery, sliced
1/2 cup broccoli florets
1 tbsp dried basil
3/4 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook ribbons according to package directions. Toss chicken in flour. In large skillet over medium heat, sauté coated chicken in oil until browned. Add garlic, vegetables, basil, and cook for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low, slowly stir in chicken broth and then cream. When the mixture has slightly thickened, stir in hot ribbons. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

1/3 cup olive oil
1 cup red onions, cut julienne
1 cup green bell peppers, cut julienne
2 tbsp fresh dill weed, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, quartered
2 tbsp flour
1-1/2 cups chicken broth, warm
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tbsp butter
Cook ribbons according to package directions. In large skillet, sauté onions, peppers, and dill in olive oil until tender. Add mushrooms, sauté 1 minute. Sprinkle in flour and slowly add chicken broth, then bring to a simmer. Stir in cooked ribbons. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in butter and serve.

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 lb beef (sirloin, skirt steak or tenderloin tips), cut in thin strips
1 medium yellow onion, sliced thin
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp flour
3 cups beef stock (or 2-1/2 cups beef stock and 1/2 cup white wine)
3 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 cup sour cream
2 tbsp green onions, diced (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook ribbons according to package directions. Heat oil in large skillet. Season beef with salt and pepper, add to hot skillet, stirring constantly until meat is browned. Add onions, mushrooms, and continue cooking until beef is cooked through and onions are tender. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Slowly stir in beef stock and mustard; bring to a simmer. Add sour cream and stir until evenly mixed. Toss with ribbons, salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with diced green onions.
